  1. Legal Reasoning
    In the first slot of the SLAT 2025 exam, students were asked a variety of topics primarily focused on the following for the Legal Reasoning section:

    • Majorly Principle & Fact Based questions
    • Draw Conclusions based on the principles
    • Communication made in good faith
    • Counter Offer 
    • Terms & Conditions in a contract
    • Negligence x 2
    • Unsoundness of mind & Private defence
    • Vicarious Liability 
    • True & False Statement

     

2. Logical Reasoning
In the Logical Reasoning section of the SLAT 2025 exam, several interesting topics were covered that challenged the test-takers logical skills, such as:

  • Argument Based – Which one strengthens the statement

5. General Knowledge

The SLAT 2025 examination’s General Knowledge (GK) section included a diverse range of topics such as:

  • A mix of Static GK & Current Affairs 
  • Recent News ( Awards, Schemes)
  • Meaning/ Name of a classical art form of Kerala, India, that combines reciting and dancing

Overall, the SLAT exam analysis of slot 1 shows that the Legal Reasoning section was relatively simple to solve, making it easy for most candidates. In contrast, the Logical Reasoning section presented a mix of easy and somewhat challenging questions, while the Analytical Reasoning section was considered moderately difficult.

 

The Reading Comprehension section, though easy, had longer passages that required more time to navigate. Lastly, the General Knowledge section was perceived as having a combination of easy and moderately difficult questions, striking a balance that challenged test-takers without being overly daunting.
