GRE Eligibility and Registration
GRE® Eligibility Criteria:
There is no age and qualification-based eligibility criteria to take the GRE. The universities accepting a GRE score will however have pre-defined eligibility criteria. Kindly check university websites before applying.

How to Register for GRE®:
GRE® can be taken all through the year and at various locations worldwide. Follow the below process to register for the test. But before you start remember 2 things:
- Passport is mandatory for GRE®.
- The name in the passport MUST exactly match the name mentioned in the GRE® registration.
The GRE® registration process is simple and completely online. To complete the registration process, you need to pay a registration fee of USD 228 online.
GRE® registration process:
Step 1: View test centers, test dates and seat availability. Select ‘GRE® General Test’
Step 2: Choose your nearby Test Centre, Test Date and available Test Time. Click on Register
Step 3: Sign in / Login to your ETS Account
Step 4: Complete the USD 228 through an International Credit / Debit Card (Visa, Master, American Express, JCB, Discover) or PayPal to complete the test registration
GRE® General Test Fees:
The test registration fee for the GRE® is USD 228. If you want to reschedule the date, time, or location of your test, you have to pay a rescheduling fee of USD 50. It must be done at least four days prior to your test appointment. If you cancel your registration no later than four days prior to your test date, you will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee.
The test registration fee of USD 228 includes score reporting to 4 universities. For Additional Score Reports (ASRs) to universities, you will be charged USD 27 per score report to a particular university.
