IPU CET – About IPU CET
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, popularly known as Indraprastha University was established in 1998, by the Govt. of NCT-Delhi. The University aims to promote and facilitate higher education with a focus on professional education like engineering, medicine, dentistry, law etc.
It is a teaching and affiliating University. It offers BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) with specializations like banking and insurance, computer-aided management, tour and travel management etc. university has 10 university schools of studies functioning under it. It has around 34 colleges affiliated with it which offer BBA programs.
Admission to this program is through a common entrance test conducted by the university popularly known as IPU CET.
IPU CET 2022 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria prescribed by IP University for its common entrance test – IPU CET 2022, conducted for admissions to the graduate program in BBA, are as follows:
- The candidate should have passed class XII of CBSE or its equivalent with a minimum of 5o% marks in aggregate*
- Candidates must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
- Minimum marks for SC /ST/Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel/ Persons with Disability is 45%
- The candidate should be below 21 Years of age as of 1st August of the admission year.
- Students awaiting their class XII results can also appear for IPU CET.
- There is no restriction on the nationalities eligible for IPU CET BBA 2021. Candidates from India and abroad are eligible to apply.
Note:-
*Aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of the best four subjects including one language and compulsory subject(s). These compulsory subjects will vary for various programs. The details of compulsory subject(s) whatever applicable will be notified on the university website before the start of the counselling.
