GATE Eligibility Criteria 2025 for non-Indian university candidates
Candidates who obtained or are pursuing their qualifying degree from a country other than India must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the GATE exam:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology: The candidate should have completed or be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology. Also, the course is for a duration of at least four years.
- Postgraduate Degree in Relevant Science Subjects: Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of a postgraduate degree in any relevant science subject. There is at least a two-year duration to the course.
GATE Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025 for international candidates:
Candidates from nationalities other than India can also apply for the GATE 2024 exam. Furthermore, students from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, UAW, and Ethiopia are eligible to apply.
