CUET PG 2024 Analysis
CUET PG – COQP12

The COQP12 paper of CUET-PG-2024 took place today (March 12, 2024).
This analysis is based on the feedback received from IMS students and experts who appeared for CUET PG paper COQP12.
COQP12 had a total of 75 questions. The question paper was not divided into different sections. In terms of Level of Difficulty, the test was easy.

- The test had no sectional breakup and the 75 questions appeared in different sections/ a jumbled manner.
- For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
- For every wrong answer, 1 mark was deducted.
IMS estimate of good attempts refers to the number of serious attempts and excludes random attempts.
Quantitative Ability
There were 34 questions in this section. The level of difficulty of the questions on Quantitative Aptitude was easy.
The questions on Quantitative Aptitude were dominated by questions on Arithmetic. There were maximum questions on Arithmetic. Topics such as Time-Speed-Distance, Averages, Ratio-Proportion, Time & Work, Mixtures & Alligations, Percentages, Simple and Compound Interest were represented.
Other topics on which questions were asked on Quantitative Aptitude were Numbers and Modern Mathematics.

Data Interpretation
Following is the breakup of the Data Interpretation sets:
There were two sets on Data Interpretation in the test. Mostly the questions were easy based on simple calculations.

Overall difficulty of the questions on Quantitative Ability was easy.
Logical Reasoning
There were 16 questions in the Logical Reasoning section. In Non-Verbal Reasoning, there were Linear Arrangements, Family Tree, Venn Diagram, Coding Decoding, Directions, Number Series, Cube based and symbol based puzzles.
No question on Selection Criteria and Sequential Output Tracing was included.
In Verbal Reasoning, there were questions on Syllogisms, identifying the odd word out of the given words, Analogies, Assumptions, Assertion-Reasoning. The questions were easy.

Overall difficulty of the questions on Logical Reasoning was easy.
Verbal Ability/Reading Comprehension
There were around 5 RC questions and 20 non-RC questions. Overall, the VARC section was easy. Most of the questions could be answered quickly with high accuracy.
