MAH BMS BBA CET Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2024: Marking Scheme and Important Topics

According to the new circular released by the CET Cell, the MAH BMS BBA CET exam will be held again soon. The new date for the exam is 4th August 2024. The syllabus and MAH BMS BBA CET exam pattern will remain the same for the second exam.

The MAH BMS BBA CET 2024 exam is being conducted by the CET cell for the first time in Maharashtra. Almost 57,000 students have signed up for this test, which is being touted as the gateway to some of the top BBA programs in the state. The officiating body has released the MAH BMS BBA CET exam pattern and syllabus for all candidates to study.

 

MAH BMS BBA CET exam pattern

A preliminary glance at the paper pattern reveals that there will be four total sections in the MAH BMS BBA CET exam – English Language (40 questions), Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic) (30 questions), General Knowledge and Awareness (15 questions), and Computer Basics (15 questions). With each question being worth 1 mark and no negative marking for incorrect answers, the total score for the paper will be 100 marks. It is a 90-minute paper with 100 MCQ questions, each with four options. There is no negative marking, and 0 marks are awarded for skipped questions. For correct answers, students will get 1 mark each. The difficulty level of the test is expected to be low as most CET tests are primarily speed-based tests. According to the official MAH BMS BBA CET syllabus, there will also be passages followed by questions. Students will have to answer based on the facts presented in the passages.

 

General Knowledge and Awareness

 

This section will combine static GK and dynamic current affairs. Students should remain abreast of the latest developments in culture, sports, technology, literature, and science. They should also study commerce, international relations, politics, and trade to ensure a well-rounded approach.

Computer Basics

 

This is the easiest section for students who cover the basic workings of a computer. Knowledge about computer parts such as CPU, memory, input and output devices, backup devices, system software, and application software is necessary. Students might also have questions about the Internet and how it works.
