IIM Bodh Gaya: JIPMAT 2024 Selection Process, Pattern, Seat Intake
Since India’s independence in 1947, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have been at the forefront of management education in the country. They are considered the most prestigious business schools in India. They focus on practical experience and critical thinking rather than memorisation and traditional academic schedules, which help students grow and improve in a practical business world.
IIM Bodh Gaya continues this tradition by aiming to develop socially responsible managers and brilliant leaders through its curriculum and culture. The dynamic curriculum, developed in collaboration with academic and industry experts, provides students with opportunities to learn new skills and gain diverse perspectives.
In addition to traditional classroom learning, IIM Bodh Gaya gives significance to practical learning through case studies, sessions with industry experts, and live projects.

IIM Bodh Gaya: Selection Process
To get into the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), you need to take the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT 2024). The National Testing Agency (NTA) organises the test on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Bodh Gaya might consider holding the exam together with other IIMs that offer IPM. The marks from the JIPMAT 2024 will be used to rank the candidates.
Only candidates who scored more than or equal to percentile 30 in the category-wise section will be eligible for the Merit List. The Government of India’s rules for reservation in admissions apply to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories. Additionally, 70% of the seats are open to all genders.
If the optimal number of girls in various reservation categories fills the Gender-Neutral Seats, then the remaining 30% of seats will be Gender-Neutral. Otherwise, the remaining 30% of seats will be a combination of Gender-Neutral and Supernumerary Girls (SNG) seats.
The provision of Supernumerary seats aims to promote a healthy gender ratio on campus while ensuring that merit remains the primary consideration.
Sectional raw scores will also be subject to minimum qualifying requirements, which will be determined after the results based on the available pool of candidates.
