The BITS Pilani School of Management, or as it is familiarly known, BITSoM, has managed to capture the imagination of quite a few MBA aspirants. 1. You need to have a recognised graduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited institution in India or anywhere else in the world.
2. Final-year students are also eligible to apply. They’ll be expected to produce transcripts and other critical documents during the verification process.
3. Having work experience is not compulsory. Your work experience will be assessed as part of the application as a whole.
4. Students need to produce valid scores from any one of the following – CAT, GRE, and GMAT.
5. Extraordinary extracurricular achievements are given importance when highlighted as part of your larger journey.

The BITSoM application timeline is divided into 2 rounds. Each round is held independently of the other and has its own set deadlines. BITSoM applicant journey

Unlike other great management colleges in India, BITSoM doesn’t offer a concrete composite score breakdown. However, it does give your entire profile a holistic view and considers applicants from diverse academic and socio-economic backgrounds. 

1. The first step is to fill out the application form, which asks you to write two compulsory and one optional long-form essay. You’ll also have to update your test scores. There is no baseline BITSoM cutoff, but students with scores around the median have a better chance of making it through to the next round.
2. The next round will be the personal interview, which will be held both in person and online. Applicants who make it to this stage will be assessed on their communication skills, among other things. 
3. Only those who clear both the above stages will be extended admission offer letters.
