SP Jain Full Form: Selection Process

Applicants are selected based on their profiles and are also required to meet minimum scores in at least one entrance exam. Their profiles are evaluated and they are categorized into two groups: Profile-based (Phase 1) and Profile-cum-score based (Phase 2).

Shortlists – Interviews

The selection criteria for the shortlist are determined by evaluating applicants on several key factors. These include the steadiness of their academic performance, how relevant their work experience is to the chosen specialism, and their overall versatility and accomplishments. Additionally, candidates must at least meet the minimum required score on the entrance exam to be considered for an interview based on this profile evaluation.

Second Phase Shortlists

This stage begins after the entrance exam scores are out. At this point, candidates are invited for interviews based on their profiles, as previously mentioned, and how they did on the entrance exams. Once the shortlists are announced, those who have made it through this phase will receive more specifics about the interview and what they’ll need to bring or prepare.

Selection List

The list of selected candidates is determined by a combined score that considers the candidate’s overall profile, academic achievements, scores from entrance exams like the CAT or GMAT, any relevant work experience, and how they perform in two rounds of group interviews.

SPJIMR does not permit candidates to postpone their admission offer to a future year.

If a candidate is found to have given false information or hidden details at any point during the admission process or afterwards, they will be immediately disqualified from SPJIMR.
