MAH MBA CET Analysis 2025 – Day 1 Slot 1 Overview
The pattern of the paper largely remained unchanged from previous years. With 200 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes, the exam was a test of speed and accuracy. Students were advised to attempt as many questions as possible since the MAH MBA CET 2025 exam is one of the few MBA entrances with no negative marking.
Also, remember that the number of good attempts is based on deliberate, properly worked-out attempts, not flukes.

MAH MBA CET analysis – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
According to our MAH MBA CET analysis, the VARC section consisted of 50 questions, with 20 RC questions and 30 VA questions. Overall, the VARC was of a moderate difficulty level, slightly higher than in previous years. There were 9 Reading Comprehension passages ranging from around 200 words to 550 words in length. 5 of the passages were accompanied by just one question each, and some of these questions were challenging to answer. Most of the questions in the RC passages were of specific detail type, with a few inference questions, too. The VA section was relatively easy. It was dominated by vocabulary questions. Most of the VA questions could be answered quickly and accurately.

According to our MAH MBA CET analysis of the Quant section, the questions were easy and doable. Only a few questions required higher-order thinking skills. There were about 50 questions.

Our MAH MBA CET analysis revealed that the Logical Reasoning section had around 75 questions of moderate difficulty level. In Non-Verbal Reasoning, there were LR Caselets, Coding-Decoding, Directions, Family Tree, Number Series, QA Reasoning-based questions, Venn Diagram-based questions, Directions, Family Tree sets, etc.
In Verbal Reasoning, surprisingly, there was only 1 question on Syllogisms. The questions in this section were moderate.

As per our MAH MBA CET analysis, there were 25 questions on Visual Reasoning, with a good mix of easy and moderate-level questions. There were questions on series completion, analogies and the odd man out, mirror images, and paper cutting. Some questions from the area of Figure-based numerical puzzles, such as the number of triangles and squares, also appeared. The overall difficulty level was in the range of easy to medium.

MAH MBA CET Analysis 2025 – Conclusion
At least, according to the first slot, our impression of the paper is that it was slightly harder than in previous years. There were more RCs than expected, which made the attempt tedious and time-consuming. Even the other sections threw in a few surprises as to the composition of the questions. As per the information we have now, the 99%ile marks should be around 125-130 marks. This is subject to change as and when more information comes in.
