The MAH MBA CET exam is Maharashtra’s most popular management entrance test, taken by over 50,000 candidates every year. In fact, many out-of-state candidates also take the MAH CET exam to qualify for seats in top colleges such as JBIMS, SIMSREE, Welingkar, and PUMBA. The official syllabus circular for this exam was released on 1st January 2024 on the official website. According to the syllabus, the exam will be divided into 4 sections – Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. There will be a total of 200 questions distributed across the four sections to be attempted within 150 minutes. The highest weightage is given to the reasoning section, which is worth a total of 100 marks, followed by verbal ability and quant, respectively worth 50 marks each. With less than a minute per question, students will need to be extremely quick in reaching the right conclusions while maintaining accuracy. Colleges like JBIMS and SIMSREE have cutoffs as high as 99.99% or 150+ marks, leaving little room for error.

Logical and Abstract Reasoning
As per the official syllabus, the questions in this section are designed to test the accuracy of your analytical and critical thinking faculties. Most questions will be based on diagrams, graphs, and patterns and will require you to identify patterns and relationships to reach data-backed conclusions. Often, some verbal reasoning questions are also thrown into the mix.
