Jamia Millia Admission Process
Jamia Millia Islamia admission usually begins in the month of April, every year for non-CUET courses. The admission process is completely online for all courses (CUET & non-CUET). Candidates need to register on the official website of the CUET & the university respectively depending upon the course to which they are aspiring to take admission. Admission to most of the JMI UG programs are based on the CUET. Jamia Millia Islamia will offer admission to some specializations of BA (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), and B.Voc on the basis of CUET scores.

Candidates seeking admission at Jamia Millia Islamia can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for any course:
- To register online, visit the JMI Admission Portal – jmicoe. in or register on the official website of CUET.
- Register successfully on the CUET or the JMI portal based on your course preference.
- Enter basic information such as Name, Academic Qualifications, Contact Numbers, etc
- Click on the submit button to upload the photograph signature, and other required documents.
- Pay the required application fees and save your form. (For Non-CUET courses, visit the official JMI website for further instructions)
- For admission via CUET, students need to then appear for the CUET on given dates.
- Once the CUET results are declared, or the JMI common admission portal is open, students need to register there with their CUET scorecard to take part in JMI UG admission counselling process.

JMI UG Admission 2024 Reservations Policy
Jamia accepts reservations for all courses in all categories.
The following are the reservation criteria by category:

Note:
- Candidates under OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) must submit a certificate issued by a competent authority.
- If seats in the categories of Women Applicants and OBC-NCL remain unfilled, they will be transferred to the Muslim Minority category.
- Internal Jamia Candidates are those who have passed the JMI qualifying examination. Those who completed their degree through private or distance education will not be considered for relaxation.
- There are no seats available in the BDS programme for Kashmiri migrants or candidates from J&K.
- There are no seats available for foreign candidates on the B.Arch course.
- NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers will be eligible for a 5% and 2% mark reduction in the aggregate of the qualifying examination, respectively.
