However, the remaining key GATE dates remain unchanged. The authority will activate the GATE GOAPS portal on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate course or who have completed any government-approved course in the relevant disciplines can apply for the GATE exam. The last date to submit the GATE application form 2025 is September 26, 2025. Applicants can complete the GATE registration 2025 by October 7 with a late fee. The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025. The authority will announce the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025.

GATE Registration 2025: Step-By-Step Procedure
Aspirants must undergo the GATE 2025 registration process on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). This involves providing essential details such as name, email ID, and mobile number to generate an enrollment ID. Additionally, applicants are required to set a password for future login access.

To ensure a successful GATE Registration 2025 process, applicants are highly advised to keep the following documents handy while filling out the application form:
- Applicants details, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc. The applicant’s name must match the 10th certificate and a valid ID proof.
- Communication address along with the pin code.
- Details of the eligibility degree.
- College name and address with PIN code.
- GATE paper(s) (subject).
- Selection of four GATE examination cities.
- A high-quality image of the candidate’s photograph meeting specified requirements.
- A good-quality image of the candidate’s signature meeting specified requirements.
- Scanned copy of the category (SC/ST) certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
- A scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable) is in PDF format.
- Scanned copy of the Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in PDF format.
- Details of the valid photo identity document (ID).
- Net-banking/debit card/credit card/UPI details for fee payment.
