GATE Registration 2025: Form Correction Window Extended
GATE Registration 2025: The GATE registration application form correction window has been extended to 10th November 2024.
IIT Roorkee released important dates and application fees on the official website. The Online GATE Registration 2025 was postponed to 28 August 2025. The last date to submit the GATE 2025 Application form has changed from 26 September 2025 to 3rd October 2025, while the extended last date for GATE 2025 registration with late fees was 7 October 2025. IIT Roorkee, which is conducting GATE this year, extended the GATE application form correction window to 10th November, while the GATE admit card should be available for download from January 2nd 2025.
Candidates can check the GATE exam date 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The GATE 2025 Result date has also been announced on the official website. The GATE 2025 Result will be published on March 19, 2025.
IIT Roorkee has activated the GATE 2025 website and will publish the GATE 2025 information brochure soon. Candidates seeking admission through GATE 2025 exam must check GATE 2025 Eligibility criteria, fees and other important information before filling in the GATE 2025 Application form.

GATE Registration 2025: Step-By-Step Procedure
Aspirants must undergo the GATE 2025 registration process on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). This involves providing essential details such as name, email ID, and mobile number to generate an enrollment ID. Additionally, applicants are required to set a password for future login access.

- Step 1: Visit IIT Roorkee’s official website, www.iitr.ac.in, using an updated browser with reliable internet connectivity.
- Step 2: Access the GATE 2025 Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) by clicking the link on the homepage.
- Step 3: Initiate the registration process by selecting “Login” and then “Register.”
- Step 4: Enter essential details, including the applicant’s name, valid email ID, address, mobile number, and password.
- Step 5: Click on “Submit” to generate an OTP, which will be sent to the applicant’s registered mobile number.
- Step 6: Correctly enter the OTP to generate the GATE credentials.
- Step 7: Upon successful registration, applicants will receive a unique enrollment ID. It is advisable to save this ID for future reference.
GATE Registration 2025: List of Documents
To ensure a successful GATE Registration 2025 process, applicants are highly advised to keep the following documents handy while filling out the application form:
- Applicants details, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc. The applicant’s name must match the 10th certificate and a valid ID proof.
- Communication address along with the pin code.
- Details of the eligibility degree.
- College name and address with PIN code.
- GATE paper(s) (subject).
- Selection of four GATE examination cities.
- A high-quality image of the candidate’s photograph meeting specified requirements.
- A good-quality image of the candidate’s signature meeting specified requirements.
- Scanned copy of the category (SC/ST) certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
- A scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable) is in PDF format.
- Scanned copy of the Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in PDF format.
- Details of the valid photo identity document (ID).
- Net-banking/debit card/credit card/UPI details for fee payment.
GATE Registration 2025: Fees
IIT Roorkee has released GATE 2025 Application fees. Candidates must know that the paid application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates can pay the application fee using provided payment gateways such as UPI/net banking/debit card/credit card/E-wallet. According to the prevailing norms, additional bank charges may be applicable on the fee payment.
