IPMAT full form stands for the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test. It is an entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore for admission into its five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). PMAT allows students to gain admission to the prestigious IIMs directly after completing their 12th grade, providing a comprehensive management education combined with undergraduate studies. In this blog, you will get information about the IPMAT exam. 

IPMAT eligibility criteria

IPMAT Indore Eligibility:

To be eligible, a candidate must fulfil the following criteria:

  1. The candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2005. However, candidates from the SC/ST/PwD categories are given a 5-year relaxation, making their eligible birth date on or after August 01, 2000.
  2. The candidate must have completed Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024 or appear for it in 2025.
  3. A minimum score of 60% is required in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations for general candidates. For candidates from the SC/ST/ PwD categories, the required minimum score is lowered to 55%.

Note:

  • Applicants who will complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination by July 31, 2025, are eligible to apply, provided they meet the above eligibility criteria. Should they be selected, their admission will be provisional.
  • When calculating percentages for Standard X and XII, candidates should include all subjects listed on the mark sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulations regarding subject count.

 

IPMAT Rohtak Eligibility:

To be eligible, a candidate must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  1. To be eligible for General, OBC, and EWS categories, a minimum of 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent exams is required.
  2. To qualify for SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) categories, candidates must have a minimum of 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent exams.
  3. Furthermore, to apply, you must be 20 years of age and not more than that at the time of application.

Note:

You can apply if you complete Standard XII/ HSC or an equivalent course by June 30, 2025, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. The candidate’s percentage of marks in X and XII standards will be calculated based on the aggregate marks of their best five subjects on the mark sheet/grade sheet, regardless of the Board’s regulations.
