JIPMAT Analysis 2025 – Difficulty Level & Expected Cutoff
JIPMAT 2025 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 26 April 2025 for admission into the 5-year Integrated Program in Management at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. It was an online centre-based test. The test was very similar to the test conducted in the last two years. The test was very easy to navigate. We’ve included our JIPMAT analysis here which includes details about the difficulty level and expected cutoff.
Our initial analysis suggests that the difficulty level was similar to previous JIPMAT papers.
JIPMAT Analysis 2025
The paper consisted of 100 questions across 3 sections.
Quantitative Aptitude had 33 questions.
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning had 33 questions
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension had 34 questions.
The duration of the test was 150 min.
Every correct answer would fetch 4 marks, and every wrong answer would attract a penalty of 1 mark.

Quantitative Aptitude
There were a total of 33 questions in this section. The approximate breakup of 33 questions is as follows.

There were few lengthy questions in the test. One such question was from SICI and percentage.Most of the questions were checking basic conceptual knowledge. The questions in this section ranged from easy to moderate in difficulty, as most were direct. A good attempt in this section would involve more than 28 questions with more than 85%+ accuracy. A good score in this section will be 97+.
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
There were a total of 33 questions in this section. The approximate breakup of 33 questions is as follows.

The questions in this section were easy. One DI set on tabular data was calculation-oriented. This section was very similar to what came in 2023 and 2024. A good attempt in this section would involve more than 31 questions with 85%+ accuracy. A good score will be 108+.
Verbal Ability
There were a total of 34 questions in this section. The approximate breakup of 33 questions is as follows.

The RC passage was slightly tricker. The questions in this section were easy. A good attempt in this section would involve more than 31 questions with 85%+ accuracy, and a good score would be 108+.
Overall, if the student has attempted around 90+ questions and if the accuracy is around 85 %, they can expect a call from IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The test was very similar to the last few years JIPMAT. The expected cut-off for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya category-wise is as shown in the table below.
