The Registration and Application Process:

  1. Register for NMAT by GMAC™: Choose your preferred programmes/institutions for score submission. GMAC will send your scores electronically to the selected programmes.
  2. Complete the B-School Application: Visit the respective B-school’s website and complete their application form. The admissions team will match your application with the NMAT scores.

NMAT Form Filling- Important Points:

  • You can take the NMAT exam up to three times but need to register for each attempt. Retake candidates do not need to reapply to NMIMS.
  • NMIMS considers only the first NMAT score. Scores from retakes will not be used for the second stage of selection.
  • You can take NMAT ONLY FROM a test venue [Till last year, students were allowed to take NMAT from home.]

NMAT Form Filling 2024- Part 1: NMAT Form

  • Your full-time work experience after graduation until 1 July 2024.
  • Part-time/project / Internship/article ship / pre-graduation work experience should not be entered and will not be counted as work experience.

Steps to Fill the NMAT 2024 Form

The NMAT by GMAC™ Exam Registration and School Application is a two-step process.

➢**Register for the NMAT by GMAC™** exam and choose the programmes/institutions where you would like to submit your scores. GMAC will submit the scores electronically to the admissions team of the respective programmes/institutions as selected by the candidate.

Go to the Respective B-School Website and complete the B-school application form separately. The B-school’s admissions team will match your application with the NMAT by GMAC™ scores submitted by GMAC.

NMIMS accepts the score of the first NMAT examination attempted by the candidate.

Step 1: Create an Account

Click here to register using your details and create an account.

You will receive a verification email on your registered email ID. Please click on it to proceed.

Step 2: Dashboard

After Logging in to the account, candidates can view their NMAT Dashboard. Click on “Register Now” to fill out the Registration Form.

Step 3: Identity Information

  • Candidates will have to specify their Personal Details, Parents’ Details, photo, Photo ID proof details, and Disability (if any).
  • Your name and date of birth on the registration form must match exactly those on your Photo ID and Signature ID.
  • Candidate must provide Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email Address correctly as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.
  • Candidates will have to upload their Scanned Photograph at this step.

Step 4: Contact Information

Enter your contact details & communication address.

Step 5: Education & Work Experience Details

Highest Education Details:

  • Candidates need to fill their Highest Education Qualification out of the two:
    • Completed/Appearing for Graduation
    • Attained Masters Degree
  • The Graduation scores/master’s Degree scores can be entered as Percentages or CGPA. Select the appropriate Marking Scheme from the dropdown.
  • If currently pursuing Graduation, select Graduation Status as ‘Not Completed’ & enter only the year of passing. (In this case, candidates are not required to fill their percentage/CGPA).

Work Experience

  • Enter your Full-time work experience as of 1st July 2024.
  • Only full-time experience after graduation must be entered. Part-time / project / Internship/article ship / pre-graduation work experience should not be entered and will not be counted as work experience.
  • Select your Industry & the relevant Function within that Industry. For e.g., If you work in the Accounts Department of a Logistics Company, select Industry as ‘Logistics’ & Function as ‘Accounting’.
  • Candidates can select up to a maximum of 3 industries.

 

Step 6: School Preference

Choices available: 80 | Free Choices Allowed: 5

The fee for additional school beyond allowed free choices is 472.00 (with taxes)

NMAT Form Filling- NMAT FAQs

Q 1 – Do I have to fill out the NMAT form for each retake?

Candidates can appear for the NMAT thrice and must apply to the NMAT for each attempt.

Q 2 – Is it required to convert your CGPA to Percentage while filling out the NMAT form?

Converting your CGPA to a percentage is not required when completing the NMAT form. You can select the appropriate Marking Scheme from the dropdown.

NMIMS: MBA 2024 Form Filling

Only Candidates who have registered for NMAT by GMAC™ will be able to Login to the NMIMS Online Form

  • The candidate must read and understand the handout carefully before proceeding with the registration and payment of registration fees for management programmes.

NMAT Form Filling- Important Date:

Registration Charges:

Rs.2800/- plus applicable taxes.

NMAT Form Filling- Important Note:

  • Candidates are required to fill out only one application form for NMIMS, even if they are applying for multiple programmes/Campuses.
  • Candidates are requested to register for NMIMS before the NMAT by GMAC™ examination. For example, if the NMAT by GMAC™ examination is scheduled for 9 October 2024, the candidate is required to register on or before 8 October 2024.
  • Candidates can register and appear for the Main or Reapply examination.
  • NMIMS will accept candidates from the Main examination only.
  • Candidates qualifying for the cut-off based on reapplication examination scores will not be part of the 2nd stage of the selection process.

 

NMAT Form Filling- Steps to Fill NMIMS Application Form

Step 1: Login to NMIMS Portal

Click here to Login.

  • Login using your NMAT by GMACTM ID and NMIMS Password.
  • Go to Dashboard & Click on “Registration Form” against “MBA Application Form – 2024”

Step 2: Personal Details:

  • Fill in personal details such as Name, DOB, Email ID, and Contact number.
  • Fill in your NMAT Registration Number, Blood Group & Marital Status.
  • Fill in your Religion, Mother Tongue & ID proof details.
  • Upload your photograph. (Size: 1MB, Format: JPEG, JPG, PNG)

Step 3: Academic Background & programme Category:

  • Select Academic Background/Graduation Degree Name (Detailed academic information needs to be updated later in Step 5).

Note:

  • For the Business Analytics programme, Mathematics/statistics is a compulsory subject in graduation with a 50% aggregate percentage.
  • For the Digital Transformation programme, mathematics should be a compulsory subject for graduation with a 50% aggregate percentage.

  • Select 5 programme Preferences.

Step 4: Identity Information, Parents Details & Address for Communication:

  • Fill in your Gender, Category, & Contact Number.
  • Fill in the Parent’s details.
  • Fill in your Communication & Permanent Address

Step 5: Graduation Details:

  • Fill out your Under Graduation details.
  • If Graduation passed, mention your Graduation percentage.
  • If your mark sheet states CGPA, convert the CGPA into a percentage as per your university rule.
  • If the conversion rule is not mentioned on your mark sheet, you can use the general rule to convert CGPA into Percentage. (CGPA*100/Total CGPA)
  • If currently appearing for Graduation or awaiting results, mention Graduation Status as “Appeared” (In this case, candidates are not required to fill in their percentage/CGPA)

Step 6: Work Experience Details:

  • Mention your Work Experience (Name of the Organization, Years of Experience, Months of Experience)
  • Mention your Industry & relevant Function within that Industry. For e.g., If you work in the Accounts Department of a Logistics Company, select Industry as ‘Logistics’ & Function as ‘Accounting’.

Step 7: Payment Details

Review your payment details; submit the form when making the payment.
