Introduction to NMIMS

  NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) was established in the year 1981. NMIMS began its journey by offering a Master’s Degree program in management studies, a course at the University of Mumbai. Since then NMIMS has grown into a flourishing University, offering courses/programs across various disciplines, such as Management, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Architecture, Commerce and Economics. 

It has been granted Deemed to be University status by UGC in 2003. NMIMS University has 9 specialised schools which are autonomous and empowered to create a niche for them. NPAT (NMIMS Programs after Twelfth) is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs offered by constituent schools, at Mumbai, Shirpur and Bengaluru Campuses. NMIMS offers Undergraduate degree programmes in B.Sc. (Eco), B.Com. (Hons.), B.Sc. (Fin.) and BBA.

NPAT 2024 Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria (fulfilling all/applicable conditions mandatory)

  1. The Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including the International Baccalaureate Diploma(IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized board at the first & only one attempt.
    AND
    a) Must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination for being eligible for BBA International business.
  2. b) Students must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination for being eligible for BBA, B.Sc. (Finance) and B. Com (Hons).
  3. b) Candidate’s passing in Mathematics and or Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam is compulsory for being eligible for B.B.A / B. Com (Hons) /B.Sc. (Finance)
  4. Candidates of CBSE, and ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) 10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared (not best of four, five, six or seven).
  5. The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared will be taken into consideration for confirming the eligibility of the candidate for the program at the time of admission.
  6. In case, the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects that appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.
  7. Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.

For IB & Cambridge Candidate:

  1. Candidates who do not have a final mark sheet will be given “Provisional Admission” based on predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidates but their admission will be confirmed on submission of the final mark sheet before the commencement of the program if found eligible.
  2. Submission of an AIU equivalence certificate to confirm eligibility for the program is mandatory for those candidates who have completed their (10+2) examination from Overseas Universities.
  3. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination by doing a part-time course or through distance learning/correspondence / externally / open school other than NIOS are NOT eligible to apply for the courses.
  4. International School/s candidates will have to submit an AIU certificate of equivalence to confirm their eligibility for the program as equivalence to the (10+2) examinations
  5. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination by doing a part-time course or through distance learning/correspondence / externally / open school other than NIOS are NOT eligible to apply for the courses.

Quantitative Reasoning  (40 Questions – 40 Marks):

Logical Reasoning (40 Questions – 40 Marks):
