    XAT Cutoff 2025: Check XAT Cutoffs for XLRI and Other Top Colleges

    The XAT exam was conducted on 5th January 2025 in a single slot between 2 pm and 5:00 pm. Over 1.3 lakh students sat for the test. After the exam, students are waiting with bated breath for the XAT results 2025, which will officially be announced before the end of January 2025. After the exam and its results, the official XAT cutoff 2025 will be announced by XLRI for its PGDM – BM and HRM programs. We’ve compiled the 2024 cutoff for XLRI below, along with an analysis of XAT score vs percentile. Based on these scores, we can estimate the percentiles you need to clear the XAT cutoff 2025.

    The XAT cutoff for XLRI PGDM-BM usually hovers around 94-96%ile overall (GEM), while for the PGDM-HRM program, it is around 92-93%ile overall (GEM). This number can fluctuate on the basis of the difficulty of the paper, the number of students giving the paper, changes in the number of available seats for various programs, and the rankings of the participating colleges.

    According to the XAT 2024 result, the XAT 2024 cutoff score for XLRI PGDM-BM for male candidates was around 25-26 marks, while for the HRM program, it was around 24-25 marks.

    XAT 2025 cutoff – Overall as well as sectional cutoff scores

    According to our mentors, the overall difficulty level of the XAT 2024 paper was similar to that of the XAT 2023. We expect this trend to continue with XAT 2025 being a comparatively hard paper. Factors such as differences in sectional cutoffs, a higher number of appearing students, and more seats for XLRI programs will affect the XAT cutoff scores for 2025. 

    Here’s what we expect the XAT exam cutoff to look like:

    As you can see, students with scores above 26 have a good chance of landing calls from XLRI for their top programs. The official results are expected to be out by 20th January 2025. We’ll continue to update the cutoffs based on our interviews with mentors and test-takers.

XAT will release all students’ official answer keys and response sheets by 10th January 2025. You can calculate your expected scores from the answer key and then compare it to the table below to get an idea of your expected percentiles.
