What’s the Event

IMS launches a Mock Stock Market competition – a stock market simulation game to give you an opportunity to test your trading skills in a risk-free environment.

The competition is to be held on a virtual trading platform and each participant would be given virtual money worth Rs.10 lakh to trade. The top 10 participants with the highest amount at the end of the event will be crowned as ‘Wizards of Dalal Street’. The event is based on live stock prices on BSE/NSE.

Who can participate ?

  • Open to all IMS enrolled/ non enrolled students graduating between 2021 and 2025
  • Non-IMS students will need to upload marksheet/ college ID/ graduation certificate

  • Enrolled IMS students will need to enter IMS PIN
  • Non enrolled students must upload atleast one of the 3 documents – College ID /Latest Marksheet (issued in 2022/2023) / Graduation certificate.

To register for 2 Live sessions and Mock stock simulation fill in details in the form along with required information.

Note 1: You cannot change the mail id / mobile number/ IMS PIN used during registration.
Note 2: Please note that registration after 30th May deadline is not possible.

A zoom link will be provided to the registered students on the day of the event to log in for the session respectively .

Webinars conducted will be focussing on All About Financial Markets and Unleash The Power Of Technical Analysis. This will guide you to learn more about the stock market. This is an initiative to make financial education more fun and interactive so as to help everyone learn about money and grow!

  • Download the Stockgro app (https://www.stockgro.club/) using the same number as registration form to be a part of the “IMS League”
  • Once the registrations are closed, participants will receive an email containing the app link along with instructions to join the mock trading.
  • Participants can not be added to the league once the trading starts.
  • The league will begin from 9:25 AM on June 5, 2023, and end at 3:25 PM on June 16, 2023 (10 Trading Days).
  • No, you trade with virtual money. This money can be used to build a portfolio consisting of virtual stocks
  • The money provided will be virtual money and IMS/Stockgro is not liable to reimburse for any notional profit made during 2 week trading event.Similarily, a student is not liable to pay for any notional losses made.

But yes, the prize money worth Rs, 50,000 is real cash :) you can splurge your winnings or use to start “real investing”.

  • Register for IMS Wizards of Dalal Street league with the registered email id and mobile number.
  • On 02nd June you will receive detailed information on email / WhatsApp and the league will be activated on 05th June under “Arena”
  • Once the league starts you will not be able to register for the same

Yes, a real/actual trading/demat account is not needed to get started. Remember, it is “mock stock” trading with virtual money on stockgro app.

We love your confidence :) The Cash Prizes will be credited to the bank account of the winners latest by 30th June.Winning certificates will also be dispatched by the same date.

Note : Failure to meet the eligibility criteria (graduation between 2021 and 2025) will result in automatic disqualification and such participants will not receive winning certificates/cash prize.
